What we offer

Before we visit to perform the in-home euthanasia, it will be important to consider how you would like your pet’s remains to be taken care of.  Pets at Peace offers two options for aftercare of your beloved companion. These include:

Private Cremation of your pet with the return of ashes to you or General Cremation, where you will NOT receive your pet’s ashes back.

You also have the option of burial at home which needs to be undertaken by the pet owner.

Private Cremation

We will provide transportation for your pet to Final Gift for an individual cremation with the return of their ashes to you. Final Gift ensures that the ashes you receive are ONLY the ashes of your pet.  After your pet’s remains are ready to be returned to you, the ashes will be hand-delivered to your primary veterinarian’s office, where you will be notified of their return.  We also have the option of having them mailed to your home.

Communal Cremation

When you choose communal cremation we will provide transportation for your pet to Final Gift. You will NOT RECEIVE THE ASHES BACK with a communal cremation. These remains will be placed at Final Gift’s cemetery grounds.

Home Burial

If you choose a home burial, we provide you with an appropriate size cloth bag to be buried in. You will be responsible to check with your town to make sure this is a legal means of managing your pet’s remains. You will also be responsible to dig the appropriate size area and depth with which to bury your pet on your land.

Fees

Communal Cremation- $150 for all weights (no return of ashes)

Private Cremation [ashes are returned in a complimentary urn]

  • Cat or Dog less than 20 lbs – $250
  • Dog 21-50 lbs – $300
  • Dog over 50 lbs – $350
